A kaptárba való visszatértükkor a látottakat egyfajta tánc formájában kommunikálják a raj többi dolgozójának.
Let me just say something here; WE ARE ALL MEDIA EXPERTS!
Only We know just the consumer side of things. All media-workers are enslaved to produce the product of our consumption in neat packaged, ready-made format; in the reports of newspapers, on the television’s news programme and even on the internet…
So how any of the skills of these bluff-masters and labourers we call media-workers come handy to US?
Well, the answer lies in the very base of any such activity we might call journalism; the honest, selfless intention to report back to ones community on topics the ’reporter’ gets enthusiastic about or invests their interest in. That is the basic and foremost accountability of the journalist and there should be no other intentions to carrying out such activity. Journalism at its root is story-telling; being able to pass important information through generations, and being able to exchange knowledge through the exchange of each others stories.
The ’journalist’ possesses this undeniably human quality; the ability to question, to ask the other and decode their message to yet another audience.
This is the ability I want to learn. From the restless lives our teachers have invested in media work while bearing witness to the monopolisation of these basic human needs and abilities. Through their remaining enthusiasm for story-telling and narration I want to learn how to be able to stand up and tell a story, or write it down in an effective manner, I want to know how to show it through images, or dance it – like the bees do.
